The Movie: More of the same great stuff. The Sixth season is really great. I guess I'll just list some of my favorite episodes here:

Time's Arrow Part II - The conclusion to the season finale from season 5. You find out just how far back Picard's relation ship with the mysterious (and very old) Guinan goes. This episode is just a fun romp through 19th century San Francisco with the Enterprise crew.

Relics - Actually, as Jeff pointed out to me, this episode really isn't that good. But hey, it features Scotty from the original series who has been stuck in a transporter loop for 75 years and appears in the world of The Next Generation. This episode also featured a replica of the original Enterprise bridge from the old show. C'mon, you gotta think that's at least a little bit cool.

True Q - This episode guest stars Olivia d'Abo as a person discovering she has powers like Q. Main reason why I like this episode is that Oliva d'Abo is nice to look at, hehe.

Rascals - Picard, Ensign Ro, Keiko, and Guinan are transformed into the form of children, and they use that to their advantage to regain control of the Enterprise after it was taken over by Ferengi.

Chain of Command, Part II - Both parts of this episode are in this season, but I single out part 2 as being the source of the famed "There are FOUR LIGHTS" line. Picard gets caught as a spy on Cardassia, and he gets tortured and stuff. Meanwhile, the Enterprise crew deals with a new captain who is completely different from Picard.

Ship in a Bottle - Moriarty, a holodeck character who had somehow achieved sentience in season 2 returns, and there's all kinds of crazy holodeck fun in this episode.

Second Chances - A clone of Riker that was created in a transporter accident gets rediscovered after 8 years of being stuck on a remote planet. All kinds of wacky stuff ensues as the other Riker tries to rekindle a romance with Deanna.

The DVD: Again, there's more of the same stuff, so I'm not gonna go through and describe it all again. The menus this time look like the displays you see on the back of the bridge of the Enterprise, although that theme is only carried out in that little animation at the very beginning of the loading of the disc.

The special featurettes dealt a lot with the design of ST:TNG, particularly with props and other stuff. Unfortunately, in one of the featurettes, Brent Spiner gives away a major spoiler from the movie Star Trek: Nemesis, and well, if you are planning on seeing that movie but haven't yet...don't watch the special features on season 6!!!

This season's special features also include a trailer for ST: Nemesis, in case you were interested.
